Industrial Brush Company offers a complete line of Wire Brushes in stainless steel, carbon steel, brass and brass coated carbon steel. Wires diameters are offered in .008”, .012”, .014”, .016”, .020” and .025” single strand wire. We also offer braided wire in .045” diameter.

Our wire brushes are made using a double-banded winding machine, giving us the ability to run light gauge or heavy gauge wires with maximum wire density, which allows customers to heavily distress the product while maintaining maximum brush life. Brush density can be varied by changing the pitch of the spiral to a more open wind, should you want to follow the grain in your structuring patterns in both softwood and hardwood products. We can also vary the trim type on our wire brushes to be smooth or rough in order to accommodate the amount of randomness that you want in your distressed pattern.

Abrasive Distressing

Industrial Brush also manufactures abrasive distressing brushes, important to use after wire brushing or hand scraping in order to remove fuzz and sand the structured part of the grain prior to finishing. Abrasive brushes are also used on soft woods for light texturing. These brushes can be seen on our Sanding Brushes page.
