Our customers are using our brushes on solvent, water based, 100% solid, UV and European Oil Stains. Not only is the right type of brush important in ensuring a proper coat, but matching the right bristle type, density and length is essential to effectively coating your product. Below you will find our three different brush types which can be paired with any type of stain wiping bristle.

Rotary Cup Brush

The primary wiping function of rotary cup brushes is to work the stain around in a manner simulating a hand wiping back and forth. This is essential for evenly covering flooring bevels, hand scraped, and wire brushed products. Rotary Cup Brushes are an effective tool for elimination of white pore on open grain product.

Tufted Nylon Brush

The primary function of cylinder stain wiping brushes is to work the stain around in the same direction as the wood grain. The purpose is to drive stain into the pores of the grain. Tufted brushes are stiffer by arranging the bristles in groups of 50, providing a more aggressive wiping action that is needed on the first pass.

Fineset Natural Brush

The second function of cylinder stain wiping brushes is to blend brush marks from the rotary cup brush and to remove excess stain. For this, Fineset brushes are softer and if absorbency is required, we offer boars hair, horse hair and a mix of synthetic and natural fibers to provide the best wiping action in the industry.
