FINZER ROLLER AQUIRES RD Canada, Inc. Acquisition Adds to Finzer's North American Presence
CHICAGO, June 1, 2006 – Finzer Roller acquired the assets of RD Canada, Inc., a Mississauga, Ontario based industrial roller manufacturer. Finzer Roller purchased RD Canada’s assets from Owner/President Mike McDowell, who will remain with Finzer, taking on the role of Plant Manager for the Ontario operation. “RD Canada was one of those small roller companies, with limited financial resources, but had quality employees and products”, stated John Finzer, CEO of Finzer Roller.
This latest acquisition puts Finzer close to the top of the list for North American roller manufactures.
“This is another great strategic move giving us a larger market share and international presence in the roller industry” stated John Finzer. Effective immediately, Finzer Roller will relocate their current Ontario sales office, into the existing RD manufacturing location, with expansion plans already underway.
Founded in 1968, Finzer Roller is a one-stop resource for rubber rollers and specialty coatings, including steel roller cores, replacement rubber coverings and peripheral products.
